It is with deep sadness that Alresford Rugby Club marks the passing of our former President and lifelong supporter, Hugh Ogus.
Hugh was woven into the very fabric of this club from its inception. His commitment, generosity of spirit, and unwavering passion for Alresford Rugby helped shape not only what the club became, but the community that surrounds it. His presence on and around the club will be profoundly missed.
Our heartfelt sympathies are with his wife Maggie, their sons Michael and Daniel, and their cherished grandchildren Rosa, Milo, and Archie at this difficult time.
Hugh’s legacy lives on through the club he loved and the countless friendships he forged across Hampshire and the wider rugby family. He will be remembered with immense gratitude, affection, and respect.
